Cirrico and Bipolar UK Nominated for UK Business Technology Awards

UK Business Tech Awards

Every year The UK Business Tech Awards seek out the best technology in the UK Technology sector, which includes an award for best use of technology for Tech For Good.  Cirrico were approached to enter sharing the story of how we’ve made a huge difference to Bipolar UK, and we are delighted to announce that we have shortlisted as finalist for the prestigious awards!

Cirrico and Bipolar worked together to become digital first in the middle of a global pandemic. The impact was incredible:

– 2 days a week saved for the fundraising team through Salesforce technology and automation
– 1-2. days a week for the wider Bipolar UK team through automating manual tasks and admin
– Safeguarding being times being scaled down into a short 1-form process when an incident happens, which is hugely important given Bipolar is the number one cause of suicide than any other mental health condition in the UK.
– Reporting across Bipolar UK has gone from 5hours to 10 minutes through having data in one place.

Conor Butcher,Data and Fundraising Officer for Bipolar UK recently shared:

“We are delighted and excited to have been nominated for an award with Cirrico, Before we had Salesforce we had an old CRM for fundraising, and encrypted Excel spreadsheets  for our  various  teams due to them helping so many people, this was a huge issue for us since we had people that were both a donor and a service-user and there wasn’t a way of bringing all the data together.

Our journey started when one of our team went to a Salesforce event and was so inspired by what they saw they came back knowing we needed Salesforce as they realised we could join everything up in one place. The ideal was that all data could be in one place so that you  could view everyone in one place, and that we could save data more centrally to ensure we could report quickly when needed, especially around safeguarding people.”

Laura Croudace shared: “Cirrico are constantly looking for ways to improve the ways that nonprofits use their time, and for Bipolar UK it was across fundraising, safe guarding, reporting, programmes and delivery and various other teams. We are thrilled to have been nominated for an award at the UK Business Tech Awards, especially in the Tech for Good category as Cirrico is focused on accelerating human progress through technology to make leaps forward in helping people, especially with an incredible client like Bipolar which have a team of 13 staff”
