A glance back

Over the last six years we have worked with 100+ different nonprofit/education organisations and delivered 200+ projects. We’ve built an outstanding team of 20 people who are highly experienced and knowledgeable about the organisations we work with, the key challenges faced, how to solve them, and how to deliver successful change.

The work we’ve been doing has focused on fundraising, programme delivery, volunteer recruitment/management, student recruitment, student experience, integrations with various systems, training and ongoing Salesforce managed services/support.

Some reflection

2020 has been the time to reflect on our journey to date as a business, and to consider the future – both for Cirrico and more widely. What I’ve concluded is that while many organisations and people are doing great work in important areas, the progress being made on the world’s greatest problems is not fast enough. 

More must be done about the environment and the climate emergency; about achieving equality for so many people who are marginalised simply for being who they are; and to ensure access to quality education for everyone. Cirrico has made some fundamental changes so that we can play our part to accelerate this progress.

Cirrico – a new vision and purpose

We have defined a bold vision: Accelerating human progress through technology.

This vision will be achieved by us (1) working with any organisation aligned to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, and (2) by delivering CirriCommit which is our pledge to contribute towards sustainable global progress. 

Each year we will tackle one of our key areas of progress: the environment, equality and education. We will donate a percentage of our profits, employee time, and expertise to work in partnership with a nonprofit or education organisation on a tech-driven solution that accelerates progress. As we kick off CirriCommit next year we will be looking for partners to work with and ideas to collaborate on. 

By being very purpose-driven, we will build a business and team that is absolutely dedicated to our vision of progress and aligns to delivering your organisational mission and impact. We have identified some key roles to recruit – including a Nonprofit Technology Evangelist – and we will need people who can add more value around change management and transformation. We have many more ideas too of capabilities we think would benefit the organisations we work with and improve their impact.

And a new brand and website

All the changes we’re making are being made public as we launch our new brand and website, which is a true reflection of our vision,  the team and the work we do every day.
