What we hear from foundations
“Applications arrive in inboxes and live in spreadsheets.”
“Monitoring returns get chased by hand, round after round.”
“Board reporting is an assembly job across five systems.”
Grantee portals: applications and reporting that applicants actually find easy.
Assessment workflows: consistent, auditable decisions with due diligence built in.
Awards and payments: the full lifecycle from decision to disbursement, captured once.
Impact reporting: funding connected to outcomes - the golden thread, applied to grantmaking.

PATTERN DEEP DIVE
From application to impact, without the spreadsheets
Foundations run a demanding lifecycle: applications, assessment, awards, payments, monitoring and impact - often across programmes with very different rules. We bring the whole of it onto one platform. Guernsey Community Foundation now manages a rising number of grants and awards with time to spare; LightEn streamlined grant management for faster decisions; and for Global Youth Mobilization we built the application, review and approval platform behind a worldwide young leaders fund - portal, panel decisions and funds disbursement in one place. Artificial Intelligence is already earning its keep here too: grant-reporting agents have cut assembling a single funder report from days to minutes (Salesforce, 2025).
