Dreamforce 2026: a preview for United Kingdom nonprofits

Dreamforce 2026, 15th to 17th September, over the Cirrico brand gradient

Dreamforce 2026 runs 15th to 17th September. What United Kingdom charities should watch, how to follow it free from home, and what the news will mean.

Dreamforce, Salesforce’s annual conference, runs from 15th to 17th September 2026 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. It is the moment in the calendar when Salesforce sets out where its products are heading, and this year’s theme, “Experience the Agentic Enterprise”, tells you before a single keynote that artificial intelligence agents will dominate the agenda again.

Most United Kingdom charities will not be flying anyone out, and nor should they feel they need to. The whole event streams free on Salesforce+, and the announcements that matter to the nonprofit sector can be followed, and acted on, from your desk. Here is our guide to doing that well.

What Dreamforce is, at this scale

The numbers are hard to picture: more than 50 keynotes, over 1,600 breakout sessions and 150 plus hands-on training sessions across three days, with attendance in the tens of thousands and far more watching online. For an in-person ticket, the full conference pass is currently listed at $2,299, with group rates from $999 per person for three or more.

For a United Kingdom charity, the practical version of Dreamforce is much smaller: one main keynote, a handful of nonprofit sessions, and the announcements that will shape the platform your organisation runs on for the next few years.

The sessions worth your attention

At the time of writing, Salesforce has not published the full session catalogue, but based on previous years these are the fixtures we would point charity teams towards:

  • The opening keynote on Tuesday 15th September, where the headline announcements land. Expect the next generation of Agentforce, and expect the demos to be impressive. Keynote demos always are; more on that below.

  • A Salesforce for Nonprofits roadmap session, name and timing to be confirmed when the catalogue is published. Expect to hear what is coming to Agentforce Nonprofit, programme management and fundraising features. If you watch one session, watch this one.

  • Sessions on nonprofit artificial intelligence adoption, sharing change management lessons from organisations already running agents. These are often more useful than the product sessions, because the hard part of this technology is rarely the technology.

Session times will be listed in Pacific time, which is eight hours behind the United Kingdom, so a 10:00 keynote in San Francisco is 18:00 here, and afternoon sessions land in the middle of the United Kingdom night. Recordings typically land on Salesforce+ soon after, so the sensible plan is to watch the opening keynote live in the evening if you are keen, and catch the nonprofit sessions once the recordings are up.

What the announcements will actually mean

A prediction we are comfortable making: the announcements will centre on agents, and they will be built for the current generation of Salesforce products. That has a specific meaning for the nonprofit sector, because Salesforce’s innovation now flows to Agentforce Nonprofit rather than the older Nonprofit Success Pack. We wrote about what that means for organisations on the Nonprofit Success Pack last week; Dreamforce will almost certainly widen that gap further.

Our candid advice for keynote season, offered every year and still true:

  1. Write down what is announced, and separately write down what is generally available. Keynote features often ship months later, sometimes in a different form, sometimes at a price not mentioned on stage.

  2. Judge demos against your data. A demo runs on perfect, complete records. As the Charity Digital Skills Report 2026 showed, half of charities rate themselves fair or poor at using data for decisions. The gap between the demo and your reality is the size of your data work, not a reason to buy faster.

  3. Note the licensing words. “Included”, “add-on” and “consumption-based” are three different budgets. The right question for any announcement is what it would cost your organisation, at your size, on your edition.

How to follow it from the United Kingdom

Register free on Salesforce+, where all three days stream live and free, with recordings typically available afterwards. Keep an eye on the schedule closer to the date for the opening keynote highlights and the expected nonprofit roadmap session.

We will do the filtering too. After the event we will publish a roundup of the announcements that matter for United Kingdom charities, with our view on what deserves action and what can wait. Last year’s Agentforce World Tour London gathering showed how much value there is in the sector comparing notes after a big Salesforce moment, and we plan to give Dreamforce the same treatment.

Talk it through

If an announcement lands during the week and you want a second opinion on what it means for your organisation, book a discovery call. We would rather help you separate the signal from the stagecraft before budgets get committed.
