Unlock the Power of Nonprofit Cloud: Winter '25 Release Notes

The latest Winter ’25 release for Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud is packed with features that will help nonprofits streamline operations, improve efficiency, and focus more on what truly matters—achieving your mission. By leveraging the Salesforce Platform, Nonprofit Cloud provides faster, more accessible tools that offer deeper insights and automation to help manage programs, casework, and fundraising.

1. Nonprofit Cloud for Programs: Manage with Ease

Within the Nonprofit Cloud sits the powerful Nonprofit Cloud for Programs collection. This includes redesigned versions of Program Management and Case Management, specifically built to harness the power of the Salesforce platform. Program managers can now:

  • Utilise Action Plans for more efficient program management.
  • Field-Level Security to restrict access to sensitive information.
  • Chronological Program Views to ensure all program activities and benefits are captured and understood in one place.

Program Management provides an all-in-one overview, allowing nonprofits to improve workflows and efficiently manage their entire program schedule.

2. Enhanced Case Management: Keeping You Organised

Managing complex casework becomes simpler with the latest updates:

  • Dynamic Assessments for Account, Contact, and Case objects allow you to guide teams through structured flows.
  • Care Plan Template Previews mean you can now check your templates before publishing.
  • The all-new Care Plan Summary View lets you see everything in one place.
  • Referral Flow Setup has become easier with new components, and the ability to merge Party Relationship Groups through a simplified UI.

These enhancements ensure more time is spent helping those you serve and less on administrative tasks.

3. Accounting Subledger joins the NPC tech stack

This release sees a new version of Accounting Subledger released for Nonprofit Cloud seamlessly consolidates your CRM and accounting data for improved understanding of fund allocation and reporting.

4. Person Accounts and Party Relationship Groups:

This feature revolutionises how you record people and their relationships. With Person Accounts, people can now be represented as both individuals and organisations, while Party Relationship Groups enable you to link individuals, organisations, and relationships across your nonprofit. It’s never been easier to manage relationships and ensure accurate data.

Augmenting all of this new & enhanced functionality is Salesforce’s Industry Common Components. As Nonprofit Cloud is part of the core Salesforce product, it benefits from innovations developed across other clouds such as Health, Service, Revenue & Financial Clouds.

Many of these components have direct application to your Nonprofit operations, for example using Life Events & Actionable Relationship Centre to understand & visualise your constituent’s milestones & life updates and their personal and professional networks. Timeline gives you a simple chronological view of your fundraising & service delivery operations at a micro level, enabling your team to quickly understand the relationship that you have with someone.
