Kat Sandford
Senior Salesforce Consultant
I am passionate about the education and non-profit sectors and am extremely familiar with the need to always do more with less. I have juggled the spreadsheets and searched through the email trails, and I have seen first-hand the impact a good CRM system can have. I am lucky to be able to spend my time doing something I genuinely enjoy in the service of organisations that are seeking to do good in the world.
Kat has spent her career working in non-profits, universities and hospitals. Having started off in service delivery, she became more and more involved in ensuring the technology did what she needed, until finally she discovered Salesforce and went completely down the rabbit hole. Within her first two years of using Salesforce she had qualified as an application architect. She has managed multi-million-pound tech transformation programmes as well as delivering implementation projects for large and small organisations across the non-profit sector. As well as using Salesforce to help organisations streamline their operations and manage their data, Kat has a side-interest in education technology, having led the creation of Kaya, a global learning platform for the humanitarian sector, which won an innovation award at the World Humanitarian Summit in 2016 and which now has hundreds of thousands of users who are involved in active humanitarian response.
